The Suzuki DF60A engine features 3 cylinders, 12 overhead camshaft-controlled valves, and electronic fuel injection. It also features Suzuki Lean Burn Control, renowned for its high performance and fuel economy.

The distribution by chain lubricated in oil bath and self-adjusting, does not require any maintenance or specific upkeep.

This engine is also equipped with the Suzuki Easy Start system with a pulse start control, a high capacity charging alternator and a tilt limiter.
