4 Cylinder “Big Block”: they can do everything

Combining Lean Burn technology, a semi-direct air intake, and a high-performance 10.2:1 compression ratio, this new outboard is powerful, clean, and efficient. Compared to its predecessor, the DF150A boasts a 7% improvement in fuel consumption.

With more torque (3.1 % more), combined with the offset 2-stage reduction powerhead, this new engine generates more power throughout the entire rpm range. Even on heavier or more loaded boats, the DF150A pushes performance a step further.

The DF150A now shares the same engine block as the renowned DF200A. Large displacement and precision engineering deliver improved acceleration at low and mid-range speeds. This is a response to our customers' desire for high performance combined with fuel efficiency.

This new outboard benefits from the technologies proven on Suzuki's "Ultimate" 4-strokes, ensuring even greater reliability year after year. A knock sensor preserves the engine's flexibility to improve its lifespan. An oxygen sensor improves the block's efficiency and the Suzuki water detection system protects the engine from the effects of poor combustion, stalling and corrosion.
