Our new DF200AP engine is equipped with a revolutionary "hands-free" starting system: a coded contactless key transmits an access code to the engine starting system. When the contactless key is within one meter of the main unit, simply turn on the system, insert the kill switch, and start the engine with the push of a button. Back at the port, simply turn off the engine and de-energize the system.

The DF200AP is the first 200HP (147kW) outboard engine on the market to feature an electronic control system (Suzuki Precision Control) and Suzuki's Selective Rotation system, which allows the engine to be configured for normal or counter-rotation, thanks to a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (the sterndrive), and an innovative electronic gearshift system.
